Walking Together

How do we who are so different, become one?

Galatians 2:20 (ESV)

20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Imagine Jesus sitting in the passenger seat of your car. He’s changing the music station, telling you that you are going too fast, too slow, where to exit. His eyes are focused on you. Your life will be better if you listen to Him.

When Jesus sits with us and directs us, we have help. When our abilities don’t cut it, we can lean on God’s ability.  We gain confidence.

This new life is founded on Jesus love and sacrifice for you. He shows His love for us while we were still sinners.  We learn to sacrifice for others as Jesus sacrificed for us. Our life is lived by faith in Jesus. Faith produces fruit, and that fruit should point others to Jesus.

Mike Noble is an example of God’s love. As God worked into Mike’s life he was propelled to reach out to others through the Brantford Blessing Centre. One man’s faith witnessed to others and spurred a team of people to do the same.

We are better together.  We can go further together.
