Focused Faith – An Honest Cry
Instead of God making Himself smaller, he invites us to get bigger, to come into a greater faith in Him and become more like Him.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (ESV) 18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord,[a] are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.[b] For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
Mark: 9: 14-2714 When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. 15 As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.16 “What are you arguing with them about?” he asked.17 A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.”… But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”23 And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out[ and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
Instead of making Jesus smaller, look to Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith make you larger. Be honest with Him concerning the struggles of your heart. Let Jesus bring you into alignment with the truth of His word and break the limits of your faith.
